Introduction to the Pan American Bank Blog

Welcome to the Pan American Bank blog. My name is Jesse Torres and I am the President and CEO of Pan American Bank.

I created this blog to share experiences we are having at the Bank. Along the way I'll share some of my personal experiences.

The goal of this blog is to let you to better understand who we are and what we do.

  1. I'm looking forward to learning more about your experiences and opportunities in serving the Latino market.

I work at a $350 million credit union in Salem, Oregon. About 20% of our community is Hispanic, but only about 8% of our membership is. We want to make sure we are providing resources to give access to and comfort with traditional financial services. I hope to learn from your experiences. Thank you for blogging.

  2. Jill, looking forward to it. In the meantime you might want to download The Community Banker's Guide to Hispanic Marketing (http://bit.ly/2pZkda). It is a free download that contains a lot of good info.

    Thanks for following.

  3. Andres Ramos.

I am impressed of how well the Bank has re-establishing connections with the Latin community; it seems to me that the Bank in the near future will be the "networking center" of the Latin Community.

    Congratulations!,
